Make Easy Money Playing Poker
If you follow the poker strategies and playing methods available on this site, you should win a fair amount of the time. Of course, you'll have to actually understand the strategies and know how to apply them, but statistically you'll do well. Even if you lose a significant amount of money due to a sheer stroke of bad luck, you should be able to regain that money by playing consistently better than the average poker player.
However, any player can have a bad day or a series of bad beats, and it's important to have a bankroll that can sustain a temporary loss. You need enough room so that you can survive losing $200 and still be able to come back the next day and get back to earning cash. But if you're like most players who're just starting out, you're not entirely comfortable wagering $1,000 of your hard-earned money on poker before you're even entirely positive you'll come out on top. Or maybe you just want a way to make some easy money playing poker. So what I'm going to do here is show you how to start with only $100 and end with bankroll of over $1,000 while also turning you into an online poker veteran. NOTE: As always, be sure to enter the poker sites via the links provided or else you may not be eligible for the bonus cash.
First up, take your $100 starting bankroll and put it into Bodog Life. There are three obvious reasons to choose Bodog Life first: 1) you get a 10% INSTANT bonus on your initial deposit, which in this case translates to an extra $10 to play with right off the bat; 2) you get an additional 110% bonus, which gives us up to $110 in bonus cash to earn; 3) it has the easiest, most beatable opponents of all the online poker rooms, so it's the best place to start out. Now, once you have your money deposited, you need to start playing some raked hands to earn your respective bonuses (even though the $10 is paid to your account immediately, you need to play a certain amount of hands to withdraw that money). I highly suggest sticking to lower money games, even as low as $.50/$1. Do not go above $2/$4 at this point. Play as many hands as it takes to get the $10 in bonus cash. If you follow the strategies provided on this website, you should wind up with some decent cash. For this example, however, we'll assume you've merely broken even and wound up with a new bankroll of $110.
Withdraw your $110 (or more, if you've played well!) and open an account with Poker Stars. This room also has some easy opponents, but they're tougher than the ones at Bodog. This room is known for its amazing tournaments, so take some time to test out some sit 'n' go's or multi-table tournaments. You'll get a 100% deposit bonus up to $50 - assuming you're depositing the full $110, you'll now be up to $160. Play around to earn your bonus from Poker Stars and do the best that you can. Continue to stick with lower-limit tables; if you find you're losing more than you're winning, go to a lower limit. Remember, you're still in learning mode, so it's okay to lose and make mistakes. Just keep applying the strategies provided on this site and eventually it'll become second-nature.
So, you should now have a bankroll of around $160. Still not enough to play the bigger games, but more than enough to maintain the small limits. That being said, it's time to bump up our bankroll at Full Tilt Poker. You get a 100% bonus, up to $500, here. While it may seem like a poor idea to waste a 100% bonus with a threshold so much higher than your bankroll, it's the best option when compared to the other rooms. You should be able to play off the bonus fairly easily and quickly, whereas with a larger bonus it could take awhile. The opponents here are pretty easy, so you can acquire your bankroll booster at Full Tilt with relative ease. Once you've done this, it's time to take your $320 and mosey on.
Plop your ever-growing bankroll into a Carbon Poker account. Be sure to use that link provided to get the 50% up to $200 bonus, and enter bonus code FIRST50 in the cashier when you make your deposit. Since we're continuing to assume you're just breaking even for mathematical purposes, this will get you a bonus of $155. The players at Carbon Poker are similar in skill to Bodog Life - in fact, Carbon Poker's players used to be even more loose with their money than they are at Bodog. It should be no problem for you to make some extra cash while you earn the $155 bonus.
Your bankroll should now be well over $600, but as we're pretending you're only breaking even, it's approximately $465. Here's where the plan becomes more open-ended. If your bankroll's below $500, I suggest you hit any of the following: Poker Room, Ultimate Bet, or Empire Poker in that order. Each of these poker rooms offers a 20% first-time deposit bonus up to $100. If you want to earn some extra bonus cash or are still shy of $500, click any of the above links and continue inflating your bankroll. However, if you have at least $500, proceed to the next step.
If you're here, your bankroll is now over $500. Let me be the first to congratulate you! You took your tiny sum of $100 and multiplied it five times over to create a respectable beginning bankroll. But if you want to play bigger stakes, or if you just want some extra cushioning for bad beats, drop the whole thing into Titan Poker or Full Tilt Poker. This will give you a bonus of twice your cash up to $600! For us, that's over a $1,000 bankroll! All you have to do is play your bonus out as fast as you can while at least breaking even and you should be all set to start playing some serious poker.
Now that you have a bankroll of over $1,000, you can basically take your
pick of any of the poker rooms you signed up with and shove it all back
in there. Personally, I'd recommend either Bodog Life
or Full Tilt Poker for some easy money, but it all depends on how you
felt while playing at each place.
